I have been staying at the Union Hotel for work for a year and a half. I can't say enough about how much I love the rooms, the food, and the atmosphere! It truly feels like my home away from home. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Historic Union:
No. Hot water,toilet ran all nite,leaked on floor,puddles on floor,couldn't shut off cold water totally so the sink ran all nite ,manager was rude as could be,never stay there again!bed was soft no shower un shaved grabbed some weak coffee in the a.m. an got the hell out of there,stayed in room 212 the Leone room,I recommend this place to no one,can't think of any one I dislike that much! Absolutely fantastic! Charlie and Ruth are amazing. The hotel is incredible.

This new diner is a welcome addition to eastern Oregon. Generous portions of home-cooked comfort food from brisket to shrimp and their specialty chicken. Sides are diverse and include mac cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, baked beans, and a nice fresh mix called cowboy caviar. I tried the chicken à la biscuit, which was excellent, with fresh peas and scallions on top. Next time the peach pie!

This is a historic gem. If you are exploring the area this is a great place to stay. Very well maintained with all of the period charm of days gone by. The atmosphere and overall decor are extremely nice. Very clean common areas and rooms. Large front porch that invites kicking back and relaxing. Owners are very hospitable. Great, comfortable base for exploring this great area and towns.

That is a historical gem. when they explore the opposite, this is a great place to stay. very well maintained with all the time charm of the days past.
