Gene's Fine Food - Union

I'm sorry to say that the quality of the food at this restaurant has declined. I used to eat here for years, but it's just not the same anymore.

The exterior of the building may not be impressive, but don't let that deter you from giving it a shot. They serve big, juicy burgers at reasonable prices, along with classic burgers and fries. I really enjoyed my experience there!

This is a decent little burger, chicken, fish, and sandwich spot located in the metropolitan area of Union, SC. The first thing that caught my attention was a truck in the parking lot featuring a big chicken in the bed. The service was friendly and not bad at all. The place had a charming 80s vibe, and while the bathrooms were a bit worn, I felt comfortable using them. The Philly Steak sub was absolutely fantastic.

The prices were quite high, and the hamburgers we received were cold. Additionally, we discovered two hairs in the chicken wings. When we mentioned this to the woman at the register, she didn't seem to care and didn't offer any form of compensation. We definitely won't be returning.
