The atmosphere captures the essence of a local spot frequented by grandparents, but the food was outstanding—everything was superb. I highly recommend it!

We had grilled and boiled salmon, New York-style steak, and paired it with red wine; everything was freshly cooked and utterly delicious. The waitstaff frequently checked in to see how we were doing and if we needed anything else. If I could give it twenty stars, I would! Whether you're looking to enjoy a meal with family and friends or just want to treat yourself, The Garden on Maggie Ave is the place to be. With a wonderful atmosphere, friendly people, and great food, I highly recommend visiting THE GARDEN RESTAURANT for a fantastic experience.

The crab cake , calamari,and shrimp appetizer were amazing. I had the Lambchops which were recommended by the waiter) , they didn't disappoint and were cooked to perfection. The rest of my party had nothing but praises for there dishes and no one brought home any left overs because everything was eaten.Waiter was verygood also but his name escapes me.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the bar had a cozy, familiar vibe, making it clear that this place is a local favorite. The food and service were fantastic! I recommend this restaurant highly. If you don’t go, you’ll be missing a treat. It’s nice to know they are located in Union, NJ Wheelchair accessibility: They are little ramps to come in and even when you go to the restroom there’s another ramp very easily.
