When we return to the Umbertide area each year, Calagrana is one of the very first places we visit, and last night’s group dinner on the patio was spot on again. Ely and team are friendly and well organized, with the starting bread being a terrific start, solid wine list at reasonable prices, then onto the food. A great evening and excellent menu so well presented, very much spoiled by flies next to the UV light. Guests left and wine was full of flies. Requested some compensation for lack of care and disappointed the owner refused. Not worth the trip. View all feedback.
We were a group of 6 plus a 7 year old. This was a fantastic dining experience. This was one if the best meals I have had in Italy. The food quality, preparation and presentation was phenomenal. This restaurant has a beautiful country setting, delightful service and amazing food. I highly recommend Calagrana.
The atmosphere was wonderful, the views were perfect and the food was exquisite. Quite honestly the best meal we have eaten in Umbria! We waited 5 days to get in, and it was worth the wait. The highlights were the cheese and truffle soufflé, the duck. My children loved the chocolate fondant. Thank you for a wonderful evening celebrating my fiancés PhD x
