Mason Jar - Umatilla

This is a unique restaurant with eclectic and unusual decor. It was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good and reasonably priced. I would have given it a 5-star rating if the onion rings hadn't been so plain and unexciting (perhaps frozen?). Overall, it's definitely worth a stop, and it's also a great place to take the kids.

Having grown up in the South and spent the last eight years traveling full-time in an RV, I can confidently say that this restaurant is one of the best places for Southern cooking that I've encountered. Every dish I've tried has been excellent, and the portions are generous. Tonight, I enjoyed the Ham Steak Dinner for under $15, which included sides. Another great feature is their spacious parking lot, which easily accommodates motorhomes. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Stick to the basics. Breakfast and a few other menu items. This is a very popular place for locals who like good service, ample parking and stick to your ribs items. We didn 't have a good experience this Sunday. I didn 't heed my own advice by ordering a cheese steak. What I got was a tasteless greasy stakeums collection on a soft bun. My wife had the cheeseburger. It was just OK. The restaurant was packed with happy people who were enjoying their meals. Sunday 12:30 there was a short wait, but the service and staff are very welcoming. My guess we will be back but stick to the kitchen specials. This Sunday it was all you can eat fried chicken.
