I've loved this place since I was a child, and now my husband and I can only visit about once a month. The owner is fantastic—I truly adore her! However, I’m quite disappointed that we now only receive one zesty sauce per meal. I went to Fish N Chix for dinner and ordered a Smash Burger. I requested mayo and onions, but was informed that those toppings weren't included with the meal and that I couldn’t add them or get them on the side. I was even willing to pay extra for the condiments, but was told it wasn’t possible. It’s just a burger, after all. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the atmosphere had an amazing, homey feel to it.
This place sucks. It's very expensive and boring fried food, served in Styrofoam containers. I tried the fish and shrimp combos. It was like 40 bucks for two meals with tax. Takes a million years to get your food and while your fish is frying your french fries are getting nice and soggy.
