Contribute FeedbackFood looks good but too bland to be called Indian. We ordered veg. Tandoori platter and dal makhani. We left without feeling satisfied.
I was eating with some friends there and had a table reserved. eating is good but you have to expect very long waiting times. only after 25 minutes and after we requested the service twice, we could order. ten minutes after that the drinks came and it takes 35 minutes to get the food. the service has not expressed or apologised for this. good eating but it lacks personal and it is already the second time.
One of the worst experiences my friends and i had here.First of all nobody came to take the order for good 20-30 mintues inspite of reminding them twice. After ordering, our food came almost an hour later! Since we were made to sit on a smaller table due to "space crunch" our dishes had to be adjusted somehow on the table, and when one of the guys working there couldn't, he rudely handed over the bowl in my friend's hands and left! Shows the sheer arrogance and 'I don't care attitude'Drinks were not serverd despite repeated reminders. On the 4th reminder the rude guy came back with the drinks, rolled his eyes and served as if he did a big charity!Surely not coming back to this place ever. The staff here needs to be taught what hospitality is.Giving it a one star as there's no option to give anything lesser.
Great selection of food and that was it already! were there Saturday evening, waiter without measure....Drink order was only after 20 minutes...the food came again approx. 30 minutes later, we did not come to another beverage order... because no waiter came, even in signs not! all in all, after 1.5 hours we went straight hungry and thirsty.
For years, the women's street 31 housed a Greek restaurant - now it has moved Indian culture. the taj mahal has redesigned the interieur indish (all the marble columns still allow a remaining Helenen touch to be felt). we were eating here on a Thursday night and almost all tables were full. pre-booking is apparently in any case recommended. the food was quickly served. after the obligatory papardam also wounded our selection. the mango chicken ( tender chicken meat in fresh mango saffron-cashew nut sauce for 12.70 euro) tasted good and drops sweetly relatiw. the chicken vindaloo was - as promised - very sharp, but still good edible. the reis is relatiw unpretentious and simple (so not elaborately decorated or enriched). who comes with children who hope for pommes, he will be disappointed - this is not here. so best to summon all already in advance on "complete Indian" - there are 182 dishes (including appetizers, salads, Tandoori dishes and thalis). from Monday to Friday, a total of 21 lunch menus (between 5.50 euro and 8.90 euro) are offered from 11:30 to 14:30 o'clock. Thus, you can " immerse yourself in the exotic atmosphere of the restaurant and be enchanted by indian hospitality and fine culinary delicacies", as the menu promises and adds: "big raffinesse when using the flavor becomes an experience. we prepare to know the food with love and traditional. our top goal is to pay attention to their health." Now then, there will be no harm to the mangolikör, which the house provides for good!
