Monet Central Tower - Ulaanbaatar

Really liked the interior and also selection of meals (way better than previous restaurant). I had hot pot last time and it was delicious. Good service and definitely one to come for nice lunch again. Also, location is very central and perfect. Next time I will sit next to the window where I can enjoy the view of Sukhbaatar square.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Ulaanbaatar every time I'm there. While the hot pot is always a safe bet here with the spices bar, order the Khorkhog. This is a lamb stew that is cooked by placing very hot stones in the pot. It is a dish that is usually for special occasions, since it is slow cooking. It was delicious, even for locals standards. There are also quite a few good options for vegetarians, such as the fried eggplant. It has a beautiful view of the square, so I would recommend sitting close to the windows on the back and enjoy the sunset.

Pork with steamed bun is the best of all. About service, we ordered VIP room for the dinner but there was no VIP room when we got there. The manager said it was a misunderstanding though.

Probably the best (and only) fine restaurant in Ulaanbaatar (and Mongolia). The tasting menu was great, with high-quality ingredients such as foie grass, beef tars, cod and so on. Most were really delicious. The culinary experience is further improved by the beautiful view over the city and the soft background music in the restaurant. Will be back next time.

The hotel is located on the 17th floor at the Central Tower. You can enjoy a beautiful view of Sukhbaatar Square while you have food. Place is very clean with beautiful ambience and service is fast.
