Brasserie Du Prince D'orange - Ukkel

We arrived on a beautiful summer evening, thinking of enjoying dinner on the terrace. Our table was close to the garbage bins of the nearby apartments, and the wind was bringing the smell to us. So we asked for a table in another spot, the waiter told us we need to wait minutes inside, and another table will free up. Our main dish arrived immediately, in the same time with the white wine we ordered as aperitif We were never offered a table outside, so we had our meal inside, on the music which was Mariah Carey friends style, and we left. The waiter, who saw us on our way out, never apologised. While the food was delicious, the atmosphere and the service were dreadful. Never going back again.

Living in the neighborhood, it's been years since we went there. practice with young children because you can go there early and there is a playground. The food was correct. I've been there since the reopening. We are installed on a terrace a little away because my mother has difficulty walking and was totally ignored for half an hour despite having called the servers several times. We even came to close the part of the terrace where we were sitting by putting chairs to block access without sending us any word. I don't know if management has changed, but one thing is sure it's totally unacceptable. We'll never go back there, of course.

We had already gone several times, including Christmas day years ago. With this experience, we asked to sit in the cozy corner (less noisy and less passage we were not advised by telling us that we might forget lol!! we still settled where we wanted, the couple who came near us after we made them also the remark! Big problems of cooking meat and fish: a stirring meat is requested and served blue and the fish did not detach itself from the stop with the outer side too cooked. We asked to replace potatoes with fries. We forgot to serve the fries. chocolate melting was normally served with an orange sorbet, a strawberry sorbet was received. the waitress is kind limit and does not speak super well French what becomes complicated in case of precise information ... in conclusion: dear for any quality and badly cooked!!! We won't be back.

I order a steak au poivre saignant'. I get a steak with béarnaise. The waitress was obviously annoyed when I wanted to change for a sauce au poivre. Secondly my steak was not saignant at all but well done. When I complained and send the steak back, the kitchen send the steak back to me saying that the meat was more blanc' today and that I was wrong; this was saignant'. Unbelievable. I want service not a discussion. The meat inside the steak was not even pink. Finally the waitress said that the meat on the outside was well done but it was saignant' inside... what a ridiculous explaination....

We went for the first time in this establishment for a brunch I expected to benefit from a discount so much the reception and the service are worse than nonexistent: glacial, unpleasant, hung but no, of course: more, for a brunch to euros per person, we expect the drinks to be understood. another contempt of our part this said the buffet was excellent!
