Very well equipped cafe The owner works really hard to offer gf and df options Good breads and cakes Lots of options clearly labelled Be aware the owner can come off a little snappy but he really doesn’t mean I. just gets a little stressed I think. He wants to do the best he can (I’m a local) View all feedback.
What Hol CM doesn't like about Oran Na Mara:
We have visited many lovely, welcoming cafes and coffee shops on our trip and unfortunately this one did not live up to expectations. Lots of signs on the road pointing out the cafe, but when we arrived there was a sign saying no walk-ins on a Sunday and the staff said they would not serve us coffee despite it not being that busy. Propose you consider adding the information to the signs on the road so people to save... View all feedback.
Found this lovely little cafe today as we were driving around with no plans. The friendly owners do the hosting and the cooking. oh and a very cute little doggy keeps an eye on the place. I had the prawn sandwich on homemade bread and it was the best bread I had eaten in a long time, my husband had a panini which he enjoyed. We then forced in a slice of Lemon and Lime cheesecake each which was absolutely beautiful. Don't know if we will ever come this way again but if we do we will be back

Great full Scottish, both meaty and veggie one, cute pets on the property and awesome shop overall. We lucked out showing up at opening time without booking on Sunday (they ask to book in advance for Sundays), had a great table at the window with stunning view. Will come back when we're in the area again.
This place was a great find on a weekend. It’s hard to find cafe’s open for food. The location has beautiful window views. I loved looking at the birds on the bird feeder outside. The shop has a bunch of really fun items for purchase. The food was wonderful! We all enjoyed our sandwiches and soups. The shop owner was so kind and created a fun environment. Would love to go here again, you should check them out!
We love this place. My sister and I found it by chance last year when we popped in and had the most amazing gluten free cheesecake. We are back in Gairloch again for a holiday so drove over and had GF cheese cake again on Friday. Then booked in for a Sunday roast today. I'm coeliac and don't eat meat and they couldn't have been more accommodating I had the most amazing GF roast dinner with lentil and veg patties instead of meat. And a delicious Yorkshire pudding. Polished off with GF cheesecake. We literally couldn't have eaten anything else. Great service, great food, great gluten free, vegetarian range and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend and is definitely our go to place next time we are here.
