Bestens gegessen und geschlafen. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet
The location is very nice, as seen in the photos, but the rooms are not really nice. Stained carpets and upholstered furniture. Had to kill 30 mosquitoes because there is no fly screen on any of the windows. The equipment well. Hear the conversation from the next room. The bottle of water was already empty. Not really appealing about the room. There would be so much potential. Nearby activities: Indoor pool right next door. Rooms: 2
Thank you for a very pleasant stay. We stayed here for an extended weekend over New Year's Eve and we did not regret it. Perhaps a bit outdated, but very spacious room and very warmly received. Definitely thanks to the lady who served us most of the time! The good and friendly service, the extra attentions, the delicious food and all for a very reasonable price. You can also enjoy nice walks and enjoy swimming and bowling. We can highly recommend it!

Don 't say you are a pet friendly hotel and then tell your guests the only place the pets can stay is in the hotel room or outdoors! We arrived at this shabby looking hotel after a 2 hour drive and only then found out that this is their way of saying 'pet friendly '. It is not stated on their site or while booking. So while we would go dining the dog could stay unhappily alone in our hotel room, an enironment the doesn 't know at all. This may result in barking or whining, we dog owners know. Needlees to say keepimg the dog on a leash closeby in any of the other rooms, like the 'Stubchen ' bar or elsewhere was also *not allowed*, so we could not enjoy ourselves drinking some or bowling, because that would mean our dog would be alone in the room! They really do not consider the effects of this policy on other hotel guests. Aside from this, the hotel looked and felt like a dated and smelly thing. The only upside for us was its location, directly next to woods and many trails to walk. We specially chose this hotel for that, but expected to be free with our dog, from end-of-year fireworks, etc. The town seemed nice but just before end of year also quite deserted; perhaps this is normal then? Needless to say we cancelled our reservation after much discussion with the receptionist, which tankfully was still allowed this so late. So, we had to return home, unfortunately. We 'll never go back there! Tip to the owner: mention your policy clearly! Walkability: Great for walks, with or without your dog and for nature lovers. Noteworthy details: NOT PET (owner) FRIENDLY,
