Eiscafe Cristallo - Überlingen

Leckeres Eis....mit ganz viel Grschmack.wir wsren letzte woche mehrmals dort.tolle sache das premium eis.da kann man auch gut sitzen bleiben und das eis unter schattigen bäumen genießen.

I can only be brutally honest with this one :( Ice cream was very good BUT! The female attendant, after serving one of the four of us incorrectly, snatched the money from the counter, while in the background a male waiter was yelling at a young female staff member. Our change was dropped into the ice cream counter !!! then handed to me with a shrug. my family sat at one of the 20-30 tables of which maybe 10% were occupied then promptly chased away because we did not order anything? I pointed at the ice cream which apparently does not count so we got up and walked away. He promptly invited us to sit at one of the wooden benches under a tree near the cafe. I said no thanks and we all agreed not to return even if it were the only ice cream place in a heatwave. This has been the only negative experience in uberlingen for us since 1990 and many vacations.

Das Eis wird von einer italienischen Familie gemacht. Die Kellner waren auch Italiener. Leider haben sie sich auf Italienisch über die Gäste ausgelassen, sie dachten wohl niemand versteht Italienisch Die Preise sind moderat.

Das Eiscafe Cristallo liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Stadtzentrum in Überlingen entfernt und bietet neben Kaffee und Kuchen, vor allem köstliche Eisspezialitäten. An warmen Sommertagen sitzt man im Freigelände im Schatten eines großen Baumes, eine Oase inmitten der Stadt.

The ice cream was incredibly delicious and is highly recommended! Unfortunately, the condition was quite inconspicuous, the lady responsible for cleaning was very friendly. The ice came very fast. In the free, the smoke of the smokers guests unfortunately collects strongly among the parasols, but recommended!
