So a great place for authentic Italian cuisine! Tagliolini al Prosciutto di San Daniele was one of the biggest pastas I tried (very creamy and delicious) and Calamari fritti was just perfect! View all feedback.

Ristorante Concordia is an elegant place right in the centre of the old town of Udine at the foot of the famous castle hill, from which you have a picturesque view over the whole city. Udine is one of these sweet and place Nordic cities that you do not want to miss. I really love Udine as it is the next Italian city from my home country Austria and in contrast to Trieste that I also love on the way, because it is by the sea, Udine does not have the notorious Bora, this Adriatic wind on the east coast of the Adriatic, which will occur once in a while and literally blow you away. So you really need to pack in and hit the wind. This will not happen to you in Udine, as this city is only located on the southern foothills of the Alps and about 40 minutes by car from the Adriatic Sea. Back to Concordia. The staff is friendly and we got our meals very fast and they tasted delicious, which means, here you get this typical thin-crusted Italian pizza and an al dente spaghetti Bolognese. Here on the Ristorante Concordia as well as on Udine the spaghetti Bolognese can be found as a spaghetti ragout on the menu. I had a pizza with sweet salami as they call it here, in other regions it is called Pizza Milano, bt here the typical salami pizza is with hot salami, so the pizza divolo. Since I am not so much in hot stuff, I asked for a change of the salami piccante into a non-spicy salami. They were very willing to make my wishes come true and, as here they are good in improvisation, only a few minutes later I had my pizza con “salami dolce”, this so-called sweet salami. It was so delicious to enjoy a real Italian pizza in Italy, surrounded by Italian waiter, Italian language, Italian menu... By Udine with love! Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann
Well-heated staff that kept us more time in this place. The food is delicious and my tip for you is to ask for a local red or white wine.
Good and quick service, delicius meals, we are looking forward to come again
