What Shobha Beharry doesn't like about The Little Prince:
A decent place in the city area. Superb lakeside view. You'll love sitting next to the lake and sip a cup of tea or coffee. Try the place for once

Please don’t get tempted by the location of this ugly eatery that calls itself ‘little prince’. Having been located by the lakeside anybody can fall prey and end up here. So did we. It all started with the unruly way by which the waiter (or manager, not sure) came asking for our order. I ignored it at the first instance and placed the order after discussing with friends. Having placed our orders we waited patiently chatting with each other. After about 15 mins they brought the food but in an uneven order we didn’t wanted. Fine, I ignored this too and we began eating. We ordered for cheese omelette, pizza ,red sauce pasta, alfredo pasta, chicken biryani and lemon soda. The cheese omelette had literally no cheese and tasted like it was made in some low quality oil. Pizza we had not expected much but this pizza surpassed all lower limits of our expectation. The chicken biryani was the saddest thing that happened there. It was pieces of ugly looking chicken topped on fried rice (again in bad oil) put together to present you the worst biryani ever. Now comes the red sauce pasta which was nothing but half cooked pene sautéed with raw poor quality tomato puree. This was the limit of our patience and we called for the waiter and instead of being apologetic about it he was justifying himself in his very unruly way as I said earlier. We had a huge quarrel with the waiter/manager and left after paying the bill (uncompensated). To all the foreign travellers who unfortunately might have landed here please don’t judge Indian food based on what you ate here. These guys exists for innocent foreigners like you who can’t judge the quality because of lack of knowledge about Indian food and give business to these criminal looking restaurateurs.

WORST FOOD AND HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Where to start, even the thought of this filthy place gives me goose bumps. Went along with 4 friends on a fine Saturday afternoon, little did we know that this would be a Saturday to remember (obviously in a bad sense). FOOD: Ordered 1. Tomato-Onion-Cheese Omelette (Cheese wasn’t found anywhere. Toasts were burnt. My 9 years old cousin would have made a much better omelette than this scumbag WHO CLAIMS TO BE RUNNING THIS CAFE FOR LAST 10 YEARS, I WONDER HOW. 2. Masala Cheese Omelette (Better one amongst the rest, just edible, nothing great) 3. Margharetta Pizza (The base was made of plastic I guess, too hard to chew, with minimal cheese again) 4. Red Sauce Pasta (PATHETIC! Uncooked pasta mixed with raw tomato puree. It smelled of grass) 5. Chicken Biryani (Uncooked chicken mixed with uncooked rice and uncooked masala. Smelled yuck, tasted yuck. My friend thought its better to feed a stray dog with this biryani than wasting it, even the dogs were not ready to eat that, lol) 6. Some spaghetti pasta (Had to cancel the order after the above mentioned blunders) AMBIENCE: This was the only reason why we considered going to this pathetic place, thinking it would be a nice experience having brunch by the lakeside. While moving out of THE LITTLE **** (That’s what this place should actually be called), we even saw dogs sleeping on the same chairs which were meant for the customers to sit, and the resto staff was least bothered. SERVICE: The waiter who came to take the order spoke like we’ve committed a major sin by coming to their place. After complaining of the food being uncooked, the hell broke loose. We thought may be the waiter is bad, the manager would still treat us like HUMANS if not CUSTOMERS, but NO! He was even more rude, arrogant, proud and ruthless. Forget about him being sorry about the disastrous food, he started arguing with us. We would have still tolerated the bad food experience, had the staff been nice to us. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Left the place with a spoilt taste and mood. Go only if you DON’T love your money, time and self-respect AT ALL.
Great Food! Also the view was amazing and the staff super nice and helpful. We got our food fast and it tasted delicious (Chinese noodles & Schnitzel with fries, salad and hummus). The prices are also very reasonable.
