Cafe Namaste French Bakery - Udaipur

I am from Udaipur and I come very often here. They serve some delicious unusual bakery items which we do not find in normal bakeries in Udaipur. My personal favourite is apple pie and brownie. Give surprise to your tongue with their delicious and mouth watering bakery items and cappuccino. Highly recommendable

Best Apple pie and chocolate ball. The pancakes and omlette were equally good. Prices were normal as compared to other restaurant. Would visit again

Situated on the side of busy road, Cafe Namaste is located walking distance away from Bagore ki Haveli.  It's a French bakery cum restaurant. Offers free WiFi. Hand painted beautiful walls give a Rajasthani touch to the decor. The seating is pretty basic and a little confined.  The bakery items are placed in a rather outdated but clean/hygienic looking glass display.   The coffee is great and the muffins here are one of the best I had while in Udaipur.The grilled veg sandwich that we ordered, turned out perfectly grilled and tasted good.I also had their apple pie which was really nice.  The prices are slightly on the higher side for a few items. The cafe is tucked in the narrow lanes of Udaipur.. A must try for all continental food lovers.. The portions they serve are big and well done.. It absolutely caters to the taste of foreigners ..We tried their bake chicken, bologneise, fried rice, lasagne ,mash potato and each dish was so well done overloaded with chicken. The apple pie was really authentic and the pancakes were well made.. A must try..

Pathetic Place- One might fall sick! We relied on another renowned website's rating to choose this place as there was no review on zomato. We ordered mix of cuisine to be safe as after entering the place we had our doubts about the quality. we stayed there as we were short on time and were really starving. While ordering the staff was not professional and rude. We ordered mashed cheese potato, vegetarian manchurian, egg fried rice, fresh lime soda, sandwiches, cola drinks. One will be surprised as to how all of this can go wrong! the mashed potato, rice and manchurian tasted stale, cola (3 bottles opened) had no fizz, sandwitches were ok. We had an upset stomach post this and taking a flight became a pain.  Please visit on your risk.
