Cafe Edelweiss - Udaipur

If you’re looking out for the best view, good staff, amazing pesto sandwich and most of all good Americano, then cafe edelweiss is the place. I was in Udaipur for 40 days and I have been here literally every single day from 12 pm to 8 pm. Rakesh, the manager is an amazing person. He goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable and happy. Dhanraj, the cook, makes one of the best pesto pasta and sandwiches. If you’re in Udaipur and want something amazing, this is the place to be. It’s ghat facing, in the old city and is near all the famous places

You will find a lot of fancy places in Udaipur but this cafe took my heart away. Their breakfast is amazing. It's not the food that I want to talk about here, the owner Rakesh is one of the most down to earth human beings I have ever come across. In a nutshell, this cafe rocks.

I'm not sure but I think I saw Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam fame) here on the last day of 2021. He was wearing a dark velvet blazer. He did happen to speak in Hindi with us, probably why it didn't strike me then. I'm not entirely sure, yet am pretty sure it was HIM!

This cafe has one of the best views in the old city and its cleaner air as compared to the other ones on the street because of pollution. This one's on the rooftop with a lake view and the food here was top notch as good as 4-5 star restaurant. They know what they are serving and they make it well .Expect to have a good serene time here .

A decent place to chill and enjoy the Lakeview with some cool beats. The ambience is pretty aesthetic, and good food options. We tried their special garden sandwich and hummus sandwich, which became my favourite! This is located on the top floor, very next to ganghor ghat. There was a dog also, very friendly!
