Have to give it 4 stars because I truly believe the Contraste has better ceviche. That said. This is VERY GOOD. We had the mixto and the daily special. Black scallops. Both were fantastic. My only complaint about this place is the price. Feels like I’m in Los Angeles. Still worth going. Great atmosphere and decor.

No reservations, but that is worth waiting! eating was amazing and the cocktails. our server daniel was also very helpful and led us with regard to the order. he also hit us an amazing desert! will definitely come back next time I am in lima

We were on our last day in peru to try again raw fish. eating was incredible, many different aromes. I liked the tiradito especially. we have the dessert and a 3rd main course (cortesia de la casa) to try out. once again we were surprised. very nice experience: the staff of the restaurant is very friendly and attentive.

I went to la mar on my first trip to lima, the menu has a lot of Peruvian directed whether they like seafood or not there is an option for everyone. I have a classic ceviche and it was amazing they never go wrong here!
