eating is absolutely amazing, but what brings it a whole amount is as they are treated as gast. the owner is very rude, tells them what to order and refuses to share the bill. it's such a shame, because otherwise this place has the best Indian food there is. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sharaswhaty:
I went to dinner and this Indian lady was so rude until it was amazing. she bruised me, nice to sit and asked if my friend who was with me later, male or female, etc. none of their business! we were very uncomfortable. avoid them with all costs, there are many other better vegan Indian places around. This restaurant in Ubud is definitely a must-visit! The dishes are freshly cooked and incredibly delicious. The vegetarian Indian food here is some of the best I've ever tried. I highly recommend trying the Bengan Tamatar and Palak Paneer dishes. We even tried combining them on a chapati and every bite was delicious. The owner is extremely friendly, and it feels like we are eating a home-cooked meal made by a mother.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was captivating. I travelled 20 minutes specifically for the Masala Chai, craving some Indian flavors. It did not disappoint, it was delicious. I also tried the Pakora, which was really tasty. Although the portions were not large, the Ganesh statue at the entrance added a majestic touch. It is a small restaurant that is easy to overlook, but if you enjoy Indian cuisine, this is the place for you. The owners, a sweet and welcoming couple, made the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return. Just be cautious of the moss at the entrance, as I had a slip and fall, but accidents happen and it is hard to avoid.
The restaurant serves incredibly tasty, fresh, and homemade dishes. The meals are rich in unique spices and extremely flavorful. The owner was accommodating and adjusted the menu for us as we are vegan. Our experience at this restaurant in Ubud was a delightful surprise. We highly recommend it.
Super cheap house style vegetarian. Iced chai was really beautiful as well as the aubergines and chapatis
Authentic, fresh, and delicious. This was the first place I ate at when I got to Ubud, and I keep coming back. The owners are super friendly. Everything is hand-made fresh as you order it. Truly a hidden gem in Ubud!!
