Locavore To Go - Ubud

We heard from many people from this place, so we had to check it! It was worth it! The meatball Sub was possibly the best meatball Sub I've ever had! (And I compare it with New Jersey Diner Subs! In any case, we go back before we leave the island... Make sure to check the meat counter and the dried sausage cooler - a must for food as we visit!!

Top 2 of my Fave here: Reuben Sandwich, if you like the combination of beef and cheese, then you will also like it. The beef has a little taste of kebab (I suppose it seasoned with cumin). Secondly, jasmine tea, they have it with strawberry and mint, feel so fresh! My less favorite is their localab burger (vegan), the plants based patty mix is soft, suspected, they made it from pace, taste needs improvement. Too bad their meat store was closed when we were there, it'll be back at some point.

A must go for a Locavore quality and innovative fare. A different special each day uniquely prepared to please your curious palette. Love my daily adventure at Locavore To Go...

Had a quick bite of reuben sandwich and it was surprisingly spectacular. Huge portion, amazing cheese and pastrami combo between 2 slices of bread roasted to perfection. The iced tea was also refreshing in a hot day. Price is about Rp 90k for the sandwich, still acceptable for the quality of ingredients.

Delicious meat specialities with local produce. The cubano was dressed with a perfect balance of flavors and absolutely delicious. The steak tartare was a bit bland in comparison and no additional toppings were provided. I also had a pastrami sandwich for take away which I would also recommend. Drinks were great as well.
