Kokolato - Ubud

The ice cream at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. While it's unfortunate that there were some disappointments, overall it was a pleasant experience. It's some of the best ice cream I've ever had, and I had a hard time deciding on a flavor because they were all so delicious!

We discovered this small gem while exploring the area. Kokolato offers vegan gelato that is also non-GMO, organic, gluten-free, and fair trade whenever possible. They use cocose as a sweetener, resulting in a smooth and delicious frozen treat that is subtly sweet - perfect for the warm weather. The staff is friendly and encourages guests to sample the different flavors. The moringa mint chip and rocky road were especially delightful. Their cones are also gluten-free, made from either red or black rice. While not inexpensive, the use of high-quality ingredients justifies the cost. It is clear that they prioritize quality in their products.

If you want to eat healthy dessert, please try. all the aromas are unique and delicious. the load is so small but so good to relax

Kokolato is a vegan restaurant that specializes in coconut-based ice cream with over 8 different flavors. We tried the rocky road, smokey vanilla, and clobular monkeys flavors, each getting two scoops in a cone for 120k rupiah, which is about 8€. While the ice cream was good, we found it to be a bit overpriced by European standards. Overall, it was tasty but not something we would go back for as it didn't stand out as particularly special.

I've never eaten a better scoop of ice cream than here. Before ordering you can try every flavor. Every flavor was so good, but I chose Rocky Mountain and Chunky monkey. You can also get some red rice or black rice waffles or a cup for your scoops and add toppings. Although it is a little pricey (35k IDR for one scoop) you have to go there and get yourself some healthy, organic ice cream!!!
