Don Angelo - Feedback

Was Anonym at Don Angelo a mag?
food and service are exceptional. There's a lot of gluten-free food. the dishes are very generous and are very good, of exceptional quality. the best service. It's one of the best restaurants I've been since the price ratio is great. I recommend 100%. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Don Angelo:
pros: immense dishes, xxl cons: risotto with xxl salt also, if the pizza had been of the chosen flavor we could value it. Grandma's cake lacking cookies, and tiramisu gets confused with a cream pie. worse quality than expected View all feedback.

Good prices and everything very rich, it doesn't take long to serve the dishes. But the best thing is, you can take your dog.

It's always a pleasure to come and eat here. pizzas are really huge, like being completely satisfied just by eating half of one. all the options are delicious and the workers are always charming.

Worst experience in Andalucia ever! Pasta alla carbonara with a mountain of cooked ham ! , cream but no creaminess, no taste. Even the panzerotti with aubergines, terrible with a “sauce” that seemed to have been put back in the pan at least 6 times….
Lasagna Originale looked like soup and didn’t taste like Lasagna at all. The Risotto with gamba’s didn’t show any gamba’s at all. Instead some shrimps had been included. These were mentioned to be “mini-gamba’s “ The waitress didn’t bother to reduce the prices of the mess as offered. Instead the prices had been increased, because the menu-card showed “old”prices. The cook was not interested neither. So don’t bother to try this “pizzeria-restaurant. Waste of money and time!
The pizzas here are huge, one is more than enough for 2 or even 3 people. Each pie is 11.5€. The quality of the ingredients unfortunately are not good. The pizza dough is dry, hard. The cheese is not fresh mozzarella and they add too much of it to their pizzas. It seems they don't use (or have? fresh basil, instead they add oregano to many of their pizzas.
This is a pizza/pasta place. The price is great for the amount of food brought. The daily menu (offered even on a Saturday) is too m much food for one person! Also, the pizza is humongous and with a thin crust. For dessert, I ordered a cheese cake, that came as a large portion with a vanilla ice cream scoop. I would just finish by mentioning that Jorge, our waiter, was such a great guy! Though the service was slow to what I am used to, Jorge was a funny and courteous guy, making sure that the waiting time was not unpleasant as it could have been! The next time I visit Ubeda, I will surely return to this place.
Very unwelcoming space with flashy white downlights. We just got in because our kids really wanted pasta. Everybody was very kind but our pasta took one hour(!!! to be served. The lasagna was horrible, the other dishes were ok, though none really good. I would not go back and would not recommend.
