Description
Refined version: "Reviews of the vegan-friendly restaurant TJ's Diner in Tyndrum, Scotland: They offered a hot dog with fries/chips as the vegan option. I inquired about vegan sauce for the chips, but unfortunately, the cook was unsure, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable.".

We were initially unsure if we would find more than just toast or fries as options, but my friend tried the vegan hotdog with fries and really liked it. They also had a falafel and spinach burger option that could be made without mayo. There were also more vegetarian options available, such as cheese toasties.
There was only one vegan option on the menu, which was a hot dog with fries. I inquired about any vegan sauce for the fries, but the cook was unsure. This left me questioning the vegan hot dog choice. While the hot dog turned out to be a vegetarian sausage with mustard as the topping, it seemed like the staff wasn't fully aware of what vegans avoid. Additionally, the staff appeared a bit bored and not overly friendly.
This American Diner is fantastic with friendly staff. I tried the vegan Hot Dogs with fries, and they were good - one of the few vegan options available. It's a great choice for a satisfying vegan meal while on the road. The prices are reasonable, not cheap but not overly expensive either. This review was updated on August 25, 2022.
We were skeptical that we would have limited options, but my boyfriend ordered the vegan hotdog and fries and really liked it. They also offered a falafel and spinach burger that could be made without mayo. There were several vegetarian options available, such as cheese toasties.
We were unsure if we would have more than just toast or french fries to choose from, but my friend tried the vegan hot dog and fries and really liked it. There was also a falafel and spinach burger option that you could ask to have without mayo. They also had other vegetarian options such as cheese toasties.
