Description

**Dining Experience at Whataburger: A Mixed Bag**

A recent visit to a Whataburger location reveals a stark contrast in experiences. While some patrons enjoy the flavorful mushroom Swiss burger and prompt service, others lament their encounters with cold and unappetizing meals. Frequently criticized for sluggish service and unkempt dining areas, this branch struggles to maintain its reputation. Despite renovations, cleanliness remains a concern, and many feel the wait times are unbearable, with app functionality often misleading. Nonetheless, a few commendable visits highlight friendly staff and accuracy in orders, suggesting potential for improvement amidst ongoing challenges in service and quality.

The burger didn't meet my expectations, but the fries were decent, and the Dr. Pepper shake was fantastic.

It's fast food. Burger was good, it filled me up, couldn't even eat the fries I was too full.

In my opinion, this Whataburger is the worst on the planet. It’s a total disaster—inefficient, unfriendly staff and a complete mess. The long lines move at a snail’s pace, and the employees seem indifferent. If you place an order through their app, expect to be met with confusion. The dining area is often closed despite the posted hours saying otherwise. The food is cold and overpriced. Definitely not the kind of experience you want from Whataburger’s menu.

A year later, I'm back to share my thoughts on this Whataburger location. I've included a photo of the disappointing triple-fried onion rings I ordered. Congratulations on continuing to disappoint! On the bright side, the app seems to be working now, which is an improvement. However, this location remains the slowest Whataburger in the Tyler area. They struggle with even the simplest orders, and the staff is often quite rude. It's also puzzling that the app consistently indicates they are closed at night, even when there are cars in the drive-thru. Honestly, it’s worth the extra five-mile drive to the Whataburger near Grande.

The food was excellent, but the staff member at the drive-thru was very rude. They didn’t say thank you; just handed me my food and closed the window. We didn’t even receive my husband’s drink! It was quite disrespectful! Perhaps they were just having a rough day.
