Tonight, I visited Fish City Grill in Tyler for the first time and had a fantastic experience. We sat at the bar, where Jonathan was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and a lot of fun! I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have Rumchata (or even Chila Orchata or Fireball), but I still enjoyed the Malibu Rum with cranberry juice. If they could add Rumchata/Orchata and Fireball to their menu, it would be a game-changer! The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening!
If you're in the mood for fantastic seafood in a clean, bright, and casual setting, all at a mid-range price with exceptional service, this restaurant is a must-visit. As a first-time guest, I was warmly welcomed by the waitress, Mara, who offered me a complimentary sampling of all their soups along with a unique oyster nacho. My favorite was the hearty black bean and rice soup. According to Mara, their bestsellers include po' boy sandwiches and crab cakes, among others. I tried the crab cake, which was fresh, well-seasoned, and contained no fillers for just $11. Mara also inquired about how I preferred my 5 oz. salmon cooked in the quinoa, dried cherries, and spinach salad and whether I wanted the dressing on the side. The portion sizes of both the salmon and the crisp quinoa salad were generous. Plus, parking in the shopping center was easy and free.
Whenever we find ourselves in Tyler, a visit to Fish City Grill is a must! The food is consistently delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasantly casual. I usually kick things off with a Wedding Cake Martini and some Seafood Gumbo. My husband is a big fan of the Oyster Nachos—they're absolutely fantastic! For my main course, I love the Shrimp Grits, Shrimp Pasta, or the Fish Tacos; I'm drooling just thinking about them! My husband enjoys the Fish Tacos too. Next time, I plan to try the BBQ Shrimp—it looks amazing! Fish City Grill never lets us down. We can’t wait for our next visit. Until then!
I 'm so glad I stopped by today. The service was excellent and the food #amazing!!! I had the oyster nachos. Sorry I didn 't take a pic because when I thought about it the plate was empty. #delicious The shrimp and grits were equally as fabulous. They looked great, were spice but not tongue burning, and very filling. So grateful for the opportunity to stop by and grab a bite. The music is easy going and the conversation from the locals is gut busting . #hilarious I will definitely be back with friends, coworkers, and family. Cheers to Fish City Grill!
Seared Yellowfin Tuna tzatziki, quinoa tabouleh, cucumber and chargrilled zucchini! Absolutely delicious and really fresh
