My family and I eat here every couple of weeks. It is one of our favorite places to dine at. The food is delicious! We really enjoy the salsa and chips. My go-to dish is the enchilada with sour cream sauce and cilantro lime rice...so yummy! My family members have tried various items on the menu and they were not disappointed. What User doesn't like about Posados:
we tried to eat in posados tonight, Thursday, 9th juni to about 20:20 clock. we entered the restaurant and there were no hostess on the theke so we were glad to wait for him/her to return soon. finally a person sat down to the counter, he/she mumbled that she had only one server. we said that would be good, and our party of 3 would still like to eat. We've enjoyed every meal we've had here. It's never too busy but the food is great. The staff is friendly and service consistent. Definitely recommend!
We came in around 12:40 and ordered off tge lunch menu. There was 3 in our party, and it took them 28 mins to bring out our meals of 2 single chimichangas and a salad. The chimichangas were the smallest I've ever been served and I didn't feel the mealserved was worth the $10.99 we were charged each. We will continue to take our business to El Mejicano in Tyler, better pricing,food quality and no wait time.
Our dinner on 10/21/2022 was terrible!! The chicken in the tamales was mushy and lacked flavor. The masa was also tasteless. The fried tacos were so overdone that they crumbled when we tried to open them to add toppings. We will not be returning as this was our third and final time dining at this restaurant.
This Mexican restaurant is vibrant and filled with tradition. Unfortunately, when we visited, they were hosting a large event, which caused delays in our order. It took about an hour for our food to arrive, and the fried dishes tasted like they were cooked in old oil with a unpleasant aftertaste. I may give this restaurant another chance to see if this experience was just a one-time occurrence.
The food at this restaurant was excellent and really delicious. The customer service was great and the parking space was good and plentiful. We will definitely be returning. One suggestion would be to post pictures of each food item so that travelers like myself can see what type of food we can expect to eat.
