Braum's - Tyler
Braum's
Description
At this beloved establishment, customer experiences vary significantly. While many rave about the crispy chicken sandwiches, exceptional service, and nostalgic ambiance, others express frustration over inaccurate orders and perceived declines in food quality, particularly with the chocolate shakes, which some now find reminiscent of fast food chains. Although the staff generally receive praise for their friendliness, instances of rudeness have marred a few visits. Despite the issues, the overall sentiment remains positive, with many loyal patrons appreciating the great service, reasonable prices, and the superior quality of the burgers, positioning this place as a cherished local eatery.

This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere for kids, and they also have outdoor seating. Inside, the store features excellent Braum's products and fresh produce – you can't go wrong with the orange juice! The restaurant itself is fantastic, serving delicious burgers and an impressive variety of ice cream flavors. I highly recommend trying the banana split; it's exceptional. You definitely won't regret visiting this place, so be sure not to miss it!
Since the reopening, the chocolate shakes taste artificial now, similar to McDonald's. The staff and service were great, but it seems they may have changed the ice cream recipe. It used to be fantastic.
The staff was very rude during my visit. When my order arrived incorrectly, I politely approached the woman and said, "I ordered it plain and dry; could you please fix this? It has everything on it." Instead of responding in a friendly manner, she rolled her eyes, grabbed the food from me, and corrected my order while yelling. I stayed calm, but I don’t understand how she could get upset over her own mistake with my order.
I really appreciate being able to shop for my favorite groceries here while staying within my budget, thanks to my SNAP card. As everyone knows, Braum's has the best butter, milk, and ice cream, so I always make sure to pick those up with my food stamps. During the holidays, I like to treat myself to a pecan pie using my SNAP card too, but let's keep that between us—don't let Santa find out! The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is that they frequently make mistakes with my orders. Even for straightforward requests, like my takeout order on Black Friday when I asked for two salads, I got home to find the wrong one and no silverware, which we specifically requested. Despite these issues, Braum’s is still my favorite spot for sundaes; they just need to work on getting orders right. Also, it's uncommon for someone to answer the phone, and their voicemail box is usually full.
My friend and I were in the mood for a good hamburger, so I suggested Braum's. He had never been there, while I hadn’t visited in about a decade. Typically, most hamburger places tend to decline in quality over time, but Braum's did not disappoint. The food was very fresh, and the hamburger and fries were hot and delicious. It still had that same homestyle flavor I remembered from 20 years ago. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh, quality food.
