Lighthouse Pizza - Tybee Island

The menu being a piece of paper on the counter may be a bit confusing, but the pizza was absolutely fantastic. The owner, who was running the restaurant, was friendly, helpful, and very passionate about his food.

The service at this restaurant was excellent, but Dave would give it a rating of 5.6. He felt there was too much flop and not enough crunch in the food.

The restaurant is mediocre overall. I would recommend skipping the cinnamon sticks, while the calzone and salad were just okay.

After a full day of shooting photography, I was starving and looking for a by the slice pizza shop and found Lighthouse Pizza; they didn't have slices but they Did have personal size pie. The young woman who helped me was a gem; friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. I also had the chance to meet the owner, who was also friendly EVEN WHEN I walked back back in with pizza in hand and sat it on the counter (I wanted a good pic of the pie) I let them know there wasn't a problem everyone smiled. THE PIZZA WAS DELICIOUS! Hot, ingredients were fresh and the dough WOW the crust was phenomenal It was like biting into a puffy cloud. Billowy is the only way to describe the crust. This is my new pizza shop on Tybee Island Kudos! ..

We ordered a takeout veggie pizza. Tasted good, was thin in the middle and around $23. Pay $8 to park everywhere in the area.
