Bubba Gumbo’s - Tybee Island

We loved everything about our visit here. So glad someone else told us about this jewel. Our waitress Stacy was perfect. She was attentive and gave us many recommendations. Hubby ordered us the baked scalopp for an appetizer. For his dinner he had a burger and fries with the abuela margarita. He also ordered the Dirty Palmer for his second drink. He loved both drinks! I ordered the cake dinner with a side salad and fries. My crab cakes were amazing. I can't flee enough about tenderness and it was also wet. Definitely a new favorite place to escape the crowds and chains.

The food here was amazing! The shrimps are literally taken from a boat, right behind the restaurant! The atmosphere is so eclectic and domestic, and the employees feel like a more regular one here. We recommended this place to everyone we know that visits Savannah or Tybee Island. We'll come back when we get to the area!

Great place! Friendly staff, great service and especially good food. Shrimp was fresh and delicious. Cool atmosphere in open air seating. Make sure to stroll the docks and piers around the restaurant. We saw a stingray, turtles and especially otters!

Fish-Kack atmosphere with great outdoor seating overlooking the water with spectacular sunset and wonderful food. Hush puppies were hot and crispy, large portion served w honey butter. Crab cake sandwich was excellent, on filler, healthy salad, tomatoes and onion, homemade tartaric acid sauce (very good). Gumbo was also top-notch, not loaded salt and also satisfied my very special mother. The staff was great, highly recommended (except women's rest... definitely needs some attention and Lysol lol).

Truly fresh seafood prepared very well. Moderately priced, but well worth it. I had the crab cake app and packed jambalaya; my partner had the baked scallops (incredible) app and the grilled C.o.D, which was swordfish. She would not stop praising it. A wonderful find. Ken, our server, was superb.
