Water's Edge - Two Rivers
Water's Edge
Description
Perched on Lake Michigan, this casual lakeside spot charms with breathtaking views, friendly attentive servers and outdoor/window seating. Regulars praise the welcoming staff, though food quality is inconsistent — dishes range from hearty, tasty grilled cheese and omelettes to disappointing, frozen-tasting fish and bland sides. Service can be excellent but some guests report long waits, delayed orders and minimal table refills. Vegetarian and dairy-free oatmeal options are available, making it a pleasant choice for breakfast or a scenic meal when timing and expectations align.

The dining room boasts a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. I ordered the grilled cheese, which was not only tasty but also quite substantial. The service was friendly and attentive. Additionally, they offer vegetarian options for those with dietary restrictions.
Absolutely beautiful location right on Lake Michigan. We had a lovely outside table, good food, and our waitress and the manager gave excellent service. Thank you so much.
Staff are very friendly . Served at a pretty good time after ordering . My family and I have been going here for years and this year we notice the food was lacking . Not much flavor . I got an egg with asparagus and it was so hard a tough I couldn’t chew it and took it out of omelet : . The French toast I have gotten for years was not very good this year either . The lady who seats you at times is helping on the floor so u may have to wait to pay. Oatmeal can be made dairy free as well
We came for breakfast, and had a table by the window. Fantastic view! The waitress was friendly, and quick! I had the two egg ham and cheese omelette, which was delicious!!
While the food was unfortunately subpar, the experience was significantly uplifted by our exceptional waitress. She was incredibly kind, pleasant, and thoughtful, making us feel truly welcomed and attended to. Her outstanding service was the highlight of the evening. Because of her, I would definitely give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it may have just been an off day on the food side.
