The Change Islands are a special place that I almost hate to tell others about. This is one of Newfoundland's best kept secrets. TLP restaurant is a long-time fixture on the island, the only restaurant for many years although another small cafe has just opened. Dirtiest restaurant in which I have ever been. The wEntire place was dirty, the floors so greasy that my 77year old mother rubber tipped canes would slide, she nearly fell twice. We all three ordered pan fried cod, as we were assured it would be fresh, however it had indeed been frozen.
