Such a gem in the Joshua Tree area! We spied it after getting gas and stopped in for a quick beer and to watch March Madness basketball. They stock a freezer full of pint glasses, so the Blood Orange Citrus by Firestone Walker was ice cold. We grabbed a Chicken Cobb salad to-go, and it probably weighed 3 pounds…..easily fed two of us. It had warm, deliciously seasoned chicken, two eggs, TONS of bacon, cucumbers, and... View all feedback.
What M doesn't like about The Cactus:
A great bar overall as the owners and bartenders are exceptionaly nice and always happy to take your order. The only downfall is going to be the DJ you hear the same sound over and over between songs. Other than the DJ a great place to stop and grab a drink View all feedback.
It's always a delightful spot to enjoy a beer and play pool.
Whether you're just passing through, staying in the park, or a local resident, Cactus is a must-visit. The restaurant has a wonderful, laid-back atmosphere, complemented by its charming and passionate owners. Our experience included delicious drinks, a taste of local customs, and fantastic music!
Javier always provides excellent service, and the food is consistently amazing. Thank you!
This is a relaxing bar and grill with an excellent menu. The locals are friendly and welcoming. I can't recall the name of the bartender/server, but she was truly exceptional. Food: 5/5.
I had a great experience with the bartender Jane during the day; she was fantastic! However, in the evening, the staff didn’t seem as friendly. Additionally, I found that the phone line was busy for hours.
