This is likely the best Asian restaurant in town — the food is truly delicious! However, phone orders are not accepted, and takeout is unavailable. Your only option is to visit the restaurant in person to place your order and pick it up yourself. View all feedback.
What pelumi olaleye doesn't like about Thai Cafe:
First time visiting. Went on a quiet Thursday night around 7pm. We ordered the chicken skewers, shrimp pad Thai, beef drunken noodles and the sweet shrimp vegetable. What I dislike the most (the reason for the 2 stars) is the quality of food and portion size. The pad Thai had 4 pieces of shrimp in it. My kiddo was like where?s the rest of the shrimp? I wondered the same thing. For $16 I don?t think it?s worth it. Als... View all feedback.
Food is delicious and the portions are hefty. I got Chow Mein and wife got Cashew Nut. Mine was garlic and sweet. Great noodles. Hers was peppery with spice. Both delicious
I've been going to this place for years. They just went under new management and the person taking orders could be the most incompetent human in business. I attempted to order something that is no longer on the menu and instead of just advising me that it's no longer on the menu, simply refused to believe I have never been there before and WOULD NOT LET ME ORDER. I kept trying and trying and he said NO????? After checking with some friends, I hear that the quality of food is now much less and the prices are MUCH higher. If you're dying for Thai Food just go to Joshua Tree or Yucca.
?Under new management? super rude on the phone?so much so that I didn?t even order and got off the phone. Used to love this place : the person on the phone refused to believe that I had eaten there before and wouldn?t just take my order because I asked for an item no longer on the menu?? I confirmed multiple times exactly where the location of the restaurant is and that I am a local. They asked the same questions over and over and kept telling me ?we?re under new management? it was very weird and made me really uncomfortable. I will dearly miss the lovely people who used to work there!

I won?t return but I?ll recommend for anyone visiting for the 1st time.
The owner is very nice and the chef makes good sized portions for just about everything I have tried. I typically get the spicy noodles with beef and it is unbelievable. They always give near perfect and accurate estimates of time it will take to fulfill and order for takeout which is a huge plus. Out of maybe 20 times in 4+ years I've been here and ordered take out, I have maybe had to wait longer once or twice max. I highly recommend trying out this place, they finally recently opened back up indoor dining so get out there and check this place out. It is authentic and good.
