Contribute FeedbackDining at CiBO offers a varied experience, from disappointing to delightful. While some guests found the food bland, overpriced, and service lacking, others praised the quality of the gnocchi and homemade pasta. The cozy yet modern atmosphere and friendly staff were highlighted, with some mentioning issues with availability of menu items. Despite some hiccups, guests enjoyed a leisurely and delicious meal, particularly noting standout dishes like the Finocchiona pizza and Chicken Marsala. CiBO seems to offer a mixed bag of experiences, but remains a promising spot for those seeking a relaxed Italian dining experience.
Been here multiple times and always enjoyed the visit. I will note that it wasn't best idea to come on a Wednesday night. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday and for some reason, some things were not available Wednesday night. For instance, none of the soup stocks were ready, so no soup. A few of the entrée items were not available (no marsala sauce for one). Other than that, service was as usual high, food was excellent.
Not sure what the deal was, Labor Day weekend? No staff? But, our family waiting for quite a while after being seated to order. Kitchen took a very long time for apps, mains, etc. The waitress said that 2 of the entrees were sent to a different table (not sure how that can happen). When mine finally came, it was missing the side dish and chicken was incredibly dry. They comped the dish and a dessert, however, a family of 5 as we are, it's the time spent and lost that we won't really get back. We were looking forward to this dinner for months to end our trip on a high note, however, fell really, really flat.
Waitress took drink order, opened our wine, really didn’t see her again till check, owner brought water, took our dinner order, another waitress brought our Bruschetta, another brought out our dinner. And Hostess did check out which took awhile... Food was very good!
The gnocchi was amazing! They make their own pasta and the spaghetti and meatballs was delicious as well. They were out of a few things the night we were there, and forgot our wine order, but went above and beyond to compensate for those. We will definately be back.
Cibo is our favorite place in Twain Harte. It's great for a date night. The food is always good, and they have a nice selection of wine and beer. Save room for dessert... they're wonderful!
