Joon Shabu Shabu - Tustin

My husband and I were in the mood for something nutritious and satisfying, so we decided to try out Joon Shabu 2. As first-time visitors, we had a lot of questions, but the staff was incredibly friendly and patiently explained everything to us, from the different meats and vegetables to the broths and sauces. The food was not only delicious but also fresh, and we highly recommend it. It was the perfect ending to our date night, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you, Joon Shabu 2!

I really enjoy Joon Shabu. Their original location in Glendale is fantastic as well. I always order the Sichuan soup with ponzu and sweet soy dipping sauce. Don't forget to ask for their secret spicy sauce.

I visited this restaurant the day after it opened, and it was amazing. We tried the opening special which included 3 types of meat: wagyu, rib-eye, and another type. All of them were high-quality cuts, especially the rib-eye. The servings of vegetables were generous, and the sauces were all delicious and distinct. I will definitely be coming back!

Great food, friendly staff. So happy to have a shabu shabu place close to home. They are super nice about us splitting with our daughter.

Flavor is pretty decent, but price is not inexpensive. At 28 for dinner for a large order of meat (not all you can eat) but unlimited vegetables is still pretty good and full out the door with leftovers to bring home. First time seeing self-serve soup base sauce in a squeeze bottle. Come to think of it, I’m sure most Shabu Shabu places does exactly the same, except the chef in the kitchen does it on your behalf, out of sight, to make you feel it’s freshly cooked. I actually like controlling the salt and flavor level on demand. Brown/red rice was too hard though. Not that good. I like the sample sauce presentation to help you decide which you want. Satisfying meal, no complaints, except definitely come in prepared to spending some . Restroom was clean, restaurant well lit and well maintained.
