Full Moon Sushi in TustinYour average neighborhood sushi joint. Well priced for what you get. At the top you'll find the Salmon Lemon Roll. A California roll topped with salmon and lemon slices. Pretty fresh fish and the Mayo ratio on the imitation crab is just right. Nothing too special on the base California. Following that up is the Salmon and Chu Toro nigiri I got. Salmon once again was fresh, nice thick cut of fish, nice touch of fresh wasabi. The Chu Toro was okay but for $7 it's a pretty good deal. Didn't like the garnish too much. Just gimme the straight fish. The Full Moon roll is next in line. A deep fried roll with tuna, salmon, white fish, salmon, shrimp, avocado, crab meat, and smelt. This is their house roll and it's pretty solid. However, it came out cold and as if the tempura had been sitting for a while. Disappointing but I've had good ones in the past so I won't let it hurt the rating too bad. Next up is your standard run of the mill crunchy roll. Surprisingly one of their best rolls here but it's hard to mess that up. Nice sized shrimp, good amount of crab, crunchy tempura. All the essential boxes are checked. Lastly for the rolls we have the Spider roll. As of lately, the spider roll has been my favorite everywhere I go. Here is no different, a solid large California roll with soft shell crab inside. It's nothing compared to Sushi Bear but still a solid piece of sushi. Only thing is I wish there was more soft shell crab. Lastly, we got the baked scallops, served with crab meat and rice. It's a nice side addition to add on top of simple rolls to make them better. Always recommend getting this on the side. We finished all that and were still hungry (3 people total) so we ordered an additional California roll and a crunchy roll to fill us all the way up. Overall rating 6.3/10. Solid prices. Good quality for what you pay. Decent sized rolls. Nice flavors. Great for a weeknight dinner.

Food is anyways fresh! i want to come here every time this time the carpaccio was a bit in the oily side but quality of fresh fish is never a disappointment. my daughter ordered salmon special with salmon sushi and she gobbled that right up. service is always on point! thanks to our waitress for her great service! i enjoy the ambiance, especially when you walk in they dusky chefs welcome you with their cool welcome in their language, that's 1 of my fave things.
