This restaurant is fantastic for dining at a reasonable price. Though I didn't try their sushi, the Bento box option is absolutely delicious! The new location is also very visually appealing, though it seems smaller than the previous one. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ichiban Japanese Grill:
The food was good and the atmosphere was cozy. Pictured is the Tuscaloosa sushi roll, and the fried hibachi chicken veggies bento box. The fried vegetables were good, but I will probably get the teriyaki next time because I prefer the non-deep-fried taste better. View all feedback.
I’ve been ordering from ichiban since i moved to tuscaloosa and have ordered quite a few things, and every thing has been great!! the fancher roll is one of my favorites and the poke bowls are always delicious. spicy crab salad is also a highlight. the only thing that i have to say is i really dislike the yum yum sauce they use, it just doesn’t taste right to me but to me the hibachi doesn’t even really need it because they season it very well!! the service is always top notch and they are always so nice. completely recommend to anyone looking for good japanese food!

Amazing food and great prices, what’s not to love? Support this small business and leave feeling full and happy. Also the service is wonderful.
Best sushi in Tuscaloosa hands down. Family owned place with the best staff and food around!
