If I'm ever back in Tuscaloosa, I'll definitely be back. Hannah recommended a few dishes and she was on some of the best shrimps and dimples I ever...
Permanently closed for casual food In the process, if it can be reworked open for events
The Cypress Inn offers a beautiful location with views of the river, although the AC being outside can make the dining room too warm. Despite some small issues, such as children's burgers being overcooked and special requests not coming through, the restaurant still offers top-notch fried oysters and delicious table bread. Service may be a bit slow at times, as seen during a graduation dinner celebration, but servers are friendly and attentive. Overall, the food is decent, although not gourmet, and the décor could use a refresh. The highlights of dining at The Cypress Inn are the fantastic view of the river and the warm, welcoming service. Whether celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a nice meal, The Cypress Inn could be a great choice.
