The staff is extremely friendly and it feels like being welcomed into a family. The food was also outstanding. I will definitely be returning.

This restaurant is a family-owned business with incredibly friendly staff. Their food is delicious and we try to visit at least twice a week. The owners are a kind Christian family who treat you like one of their own. We have been loyal customers for many years.

This restaurant is famous for their perfectly cooked and fried catfish, which lives up to their reputation. It may be located a little out of the way, but don't let that deter you from trying this soul food haven. The service was also top-notch, receiving a five-star rating.

Tuscaloosa does not leave without stopping at the brown bag. bring an appetit and additional money to tap an excellent and overly accommodating staff. wels, fried green tomatoes and let unfortunately not have a place for dessert. I also tried the chicken and dumplings and a rib or two. a hole in the wall and my friend.

I have been going here for years. It is amazing, a must-eat, true soul food place. I’m wasting time trying to write a review. Words. Cannot. Describe. Mouth watering just thinking about it. I mean seriously, it’s that good. Fried green tomatoes, fried okra, greens, chicken and dumplings, barbecue, you name it, it is fantastic. Simply the best food and the best people. BAR NONE.
