**A Culinary Experience at Turtle Lake: A Mixed Bag**
Turtle Lake's local dining scene presents a varied experience for patrons, ranging from delicious offerings to disappointing meals. While some diners rave about the friendly service and delightful menu—highlighting favorites like the Sugar Salad and burgers—others lament flaws such as overcooked fish and unsatisfactory taco specials. The atmosphere is generally inviting, with commendable staff who enhance the experience. However, inconsistencies in food quality and service, along with a lack of sanitation in the kitchen, have raised concerns. Overall, this restaurant may appeal to some, but it comes with notable caveats for the discerning diner.

We recently ordered the baked walleye and French fries to go, but we were disappointed. There was no tartar sauce, lemon, or ketchup included. The fish was overcooked, and the fries were undercooked, making both meals inedible. Additionally, the kitchen staff appeared unsanitary. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
10 dollars for a grilled cheese I'm blown away that is ridiculous is the cheese special? It's still cheese and.bread. ? Right smh
Stopped in at the Hotel Bar and Grill this fine evening and had a very pleasant amazing bartender named James! He made our visit there very pleasant! Definitely going back in the near future
