Restaurant Unicom - Turnu Măgurele

Newly renovated place, with nice design (but not especially appealing colors for all the armchairs). Nice lighting and decorations. Large choice in the menu (they don't have quite all listed there though). Tasty food, big portions, nice presentation of the plate. They cook there own special type of bread. Good homemade desert, too. Friendly staff and owner, helpful and communicative. The waitress told us what not to pick (it would have taken 40min. to prepare) and this way we were served quickly. Because of the rather late hour for lunch we remained the only customers in this room. Others were on the clever protected terrace, others in the second big room (suitable for events). Music was ok, just a little bit too loud according to my taste, but definitely not noisy. It was a surprise to find such a place in a very small and remote city.
