Mr P’s is the most awesome dive bar in Turner. It might be the only one, but it’s still the best. Staff and locals were all super friendly, and Terri is the hottest bar tender in all of Turner. She came to our table several times just to make sure we were happy. They have food too! If you need a bite to eat, they have it. They should really bring back the tater tots though . Everyone was talking about them. If you find yourself in Turner, don’t miss the chance to check out this local gem. It’s everything a local bar should be, and then some. Plus it’s a small town, so you can get really drunk (like the guy that fell off his stool) and still walk or crawl home. Bonus points if you pay by credit card because you can steal a genuine Mr. P’s pen! 10/10, would do again.
For being the only bar in town the only place with video lottery ,you would think they would stay open till the lottery machines shut down. The hours are noon to midnight. The manager is rude treats everyone including her employees like crap. They go through bartenders so much because they either quit or they get fired without even a warning first for any little reason. The manager has a history of stealing money blaming it on the bartender if she wants to get rid of them. The managers mom owns the place but doesn't care about any of it. They took away the best menu replaced it with basic food. They don't even sell nuts or chips anymore they keep jacking up the prices. The people that go there are great the only reason I keep going back. They make the bartenders keep sports on all the tvs. All the same game. It's not a sports bar. If only the owner her daughter gave a crap about the place or the people then it would be ok. I would still recommend going because of the people. I sure hope someone buys the place soon changes things but who wants to pay $900,000.00 for it the way it is.
