Lakeland House - Turangi

Beautiful place, delicious food and good service. If you're staying in Turangi or passing by, this place a must to visit!We had lamb shanks (not in the menu) as lamb racks (in the menu) were not available. During winter, Turangi is best place to go, less crowd and peaceful. We stayed at Motutere Bay Top 10.We will return to this place in future.

Told us they were offering a breakfast menu but then closed when we turned up. Probably a lovely place but didn’t get a chance to try it

First time I've visited this restaurant 4 years ago, and fell in love with it. Everything was amazing: staff, food, view, service. I ate the best soup Chowder that year. I named this place the best restaurant on North Island (of my choice).Unfortunately, time has changed everything. Only the view is still amazing. The food is too salty and not tasty at all. My friend ordered a virgin Mahito and got the sugar water with one leave of mint and lemon instead of lime ‍The service was very slow. We were waiting for food for more than an hour..Such a big difference and disappointment.Definitely not recommended.
