What User doesn't like about Bodega Jean Bousquet:
Tuve la posibilidad de ir en familia a almorzar un domingo. El lugar es muy lindo, enclavado en viñedos y con una laguna artificial. AL igual que la mayoría de los visitantes, optamos por el menú en pasos. La comida es buena, normal, nada gourmet ni novedosa ni mucho menos delicatessen. *Food: Excellent *Price: Mid-Range *Service: Excellent *Decoration: Sexy Rural ; *The best: The selection of food and wines is very good *The Worst: No complaints
If you want to eat in this place or drink their wine, just say no and look for another place. They had time to improve the quality of their food and wines, but it seems no priority. Your location on the main road will always attract someone. Not worth the visit, trust me. I've been there before and it was just as bad. Could be a great place if they take care of what they apparently do not.
Don't go out for that tip. Wines were unstoppable, eating uninspiring. The setting is nice, but beautiful settings are a dozen along Route 89. Save your pesos and go to Salentein or Andeluna.
With Domaine Bousquet. These are two different companies and different owners. The restaurant Domaine Bousquet is called Gaia and the entrance of the winery is about a mile north and has a sign called Domaine Bousquet /Gaia Restaurant.
We visited 14 wineries in the Mendoza region over 4 full days and Domaine Bousquet is not worth your time. They wines are pedestrian, the atmosphere mediocre at best, and there was nothing memorable or worthy of visiting this place when there are so many other phenomenal options. For a place that was supposed to have character by virtue of being a boutique , this was a total bust.
