While some patrons appreciate the cozy seating, reasonable prices, and quick service, many express frustration with order accuracy and food quality. Complaints often focus on missing items, cold fries, and unappetizing drinks, suggesting a lack of attention during busy periods. Nonetheless, some customers have enjoyed specific menu items, like the BBQ burger and cheese bites, citing delicious flavors. Although staff friendliness has been noted, issues with the ordering process, especially during busy times, leave room for improvement in ensuring a consistently satisfying experience for all customers.
Management clearly need to review what good customer service looks like. The staff are trying their hardest but every single car that orders through the drive through have to park up and wait 10+ minutes for food. Rumour has it managers from Maidstone have come over, they need to be sacked as they clearly haven’t got a clue!
Had to wait for 45 minuets for my food, ended up having to ask for a refund from the manger Scott who was incredibly rude and told me there was nothing he could do so ended up leaving. On my way out my friend had his drink nocked over by another employe who was NOT willing to provide us with her name but (went to get a new drink) and then turned up with the same cup which had been on the floor. Would not recommend going to this store and will be getting in contact with higher management as wasn’t even provided with a refund for my food and drink!
Do not use this branch!! Over the last month this branch has got steadily worse. Yesterday I was given a toffee coffee, couldn’t drink and noticed after I had queued for 30 mins. This time went back and said this to them and this time (after 40 mins) was given a pale brown liquid that was not coffee in any way. Never again. There are consistently serving delivery personnel and customers are waiting, badly served or wrongly. They have just lost a regular customer
When I go to McDonald’s, I don’t expect Michelin star cooking or service – I just want my Big Mac served quickly. However, the Tunbridge Wells branch of the chain is disappointing. The food is cooked quickly but the staff seem more interested in chatting than serving customers. After a 35 minute wait, my simple order of a Big Mac, fries, and McFlurry was finally put together. The lack of management oversight and staff motivation resulted in a chaotic experience with customers waiting endlessly. Avoid this location and head to the KFC next door instead.
Ample parking, well-managed, reasonable prices, and chances to win prizes! The seating is clean and cozy. The drinks are fantastic! The menu offers options for all tastes.
