This is an excellent Indian Restaurant in a small country town. I was surprised and pleased to find such a good place to eat on a short stop over. The Rogan Josh was excellent - although could have been a little spicier - the Garlic and Cheese Naan - amazing - I will have to try and make this at home. Very filling! View all feedback.

Had dinner with family. Restaurant lacks atmosphere however the food is excellent and reasonably priced. BYO wine is a bonus. Good selection of dishes including vegetarian which you would expect in this type of establishment. Service is friendly and prompt. View all feedback.
The curries and cheese garlic roti at this restaurant were delicious. It is the only Indian restaurant in the area. However, I was disappointed with the biriyani, as it was essentially just rice mixed with meat gravy. As a biriyani fan, I did not find it very interesting. Overall, it may be worth a try if you are in Tumut.
I have ordered takeout from this restaurant twice and have had a good experience. Unfortunately, they do not offer my favorite Indian curry, Malai Kofta, but the Paneer Butter Masala was delicious. The rice was also good. The Garlic Naan was a bit dry and stiff the first time, but the second time it was much softer and very tasty. While it may not be the best Indian food I've had, it was still a good meal and I will definitely be coming back. The staff at the front of the house were friendly, and the wait for the food was only 30 minutes.
Roti was very soft. Paneer butter masala was tasty but too much food colour was used, it left our fingers orange even after washing. Chicken biriyani was tasty.
It was surprising to find decent Indian food all the way out there in the mountains. I enjoyed the lamb rogan josh, palak paneer, and garlic naan. Well it's a little bit difficult to see from the street, it does lend to its feel of being a hidden away gem. The service staff were polite and prompt, and I felt all warmed up when I left, it is a good thing because it was absolutely freezing out.
The food at this restaurant was delicious, especially the naan which was soft and perfectly cooked. It's definitely worth a visit on the way back from a trip to the snowy mountains.
