Contribute FeedbackWisdom's Restaurant in Green Valley, AZ has garnered a mix of reviews from diners. While some found the vegan options to be limited but clearly marked on the menu, others raved about the superb service and delicious margaritas. The Chile rellanos and ground beef tacos were highlighted as standout dishes, along with the homemade salsa and chips. Despite some complaints about extra charges for certain items, overall, the restaurant seems to have left a positive impression on patrons. With a welcoming atmosphere, quirky rustic decor, and accommodating staff, Wisdom's appears to be a hidden gem worth trying.
In an area with limited possibilities you will find something to eat. we had bohnengrat. they were better than taco bell, but nothing to write home. they did not praise us for the cheese we did not get, but they calculated $3.00 to add rice to the burro. bohn tostadas seemed the only other vegan choice. there were no vegan or vegetarian elements displayed on the menu.
What a total surprise to find this place in the middle of nowhere! the vegan options are clearly marked and the server knew exactly what was vegan and how the dinge could be veganized. the atmosphere is quirky rustic and completely suitable for the location. I had a tamarind margarita and blue corn tamales. both excellent. the dessert is also vegan without the ice.
The menu includes a lot of options; eating is great, owner is very welcoming, and atmosphere is very unique /warm. only at the side was that our waitress was not very friendly perhaps she had only a bad day. overall would recommend wisdom’s caffe!
I loved this place. beautiful service, best margaritas I had, we had appetizers of speck wrapped garnels and fresh salsa and chips. both were so good! I was set on a steak in this night and they didn't have what I wanted on the menu, so went to another device for steak huge errors on my part, one of the worst meat cuts I my lips. we loved wisdom. Congratulations to great service and eat!
We had to try this after reading about it and recommended by tubac inn. we went for 2 for 1 margaritas on Tuesday night. they were very good and served in a maurer glass (a little problematic drink over the lip of the glass). chips and salsa are not free, but they are homemade crispy chips with a freshly made pico de gallo style salsa. hubby ordered a taco and I had a tostado since we were not very hungry. the shredded meat bark was tasty and plentiful, with a smile of the beard of wine, salat and cheddar. hubby said his taco was also very good. the waitress convinced us to order an fruit borrito (I am not much of a dessert eater so I could have done without). a burrito is a lot big for 2 people, so let's share it. the apfel burrito was crispy and pollinated with zimt sugar, served with a pot of ice. we have dined inside, as the terrace was quite full. the personal is welcoming and the service very good.
