My bf and I visited the ruins in tulum one day. on the way to the ruins there are restaurants and shops. we discovered salciccium, checked her menu and prices a... read more My bf and I visited the ruins in tulum one day. on the way to the ruins there are restaurants and shops. we discovered salciccium, checked her menu and prices and had lunch there. a delicious pizza, a good conversation with the owner and it felt like we were back home. sometimes, when they are on the go, it is a good thing to find comfort in familiarity. the pizza was excellent, the environment was relaxing and cool. I would highly recommend this restaurant. travel suggestions change their money for pesos before shopping. we found out that even if the stock market has posted a rate. quite often when they pay with American money, they don't make up, as well as when they pay with pesos. companies seem to have their own exchange rate for the day in which it is ruled to their gunstens and when they pay with pesos they do not have to sit there and try to calculate the exchange. it is simpler and wiser to go first to the stock exchange. this applies to all shopping and business operations, not only for restaurants. here they find interchanges everywhere.
