I eat from Michelin star to cafe food and believe you should rate according to how good the place is for the style of food. Delicious spatchcock chicken, simple coleslaw style salad, lovely rice and spicy sauce So so reasonable. They don't sell alcohol - a beer would have been good with it but that's the only complaint. We are in Tulum for 3 weeks and will be returning

And simple i... read more Because of the great reviews, this was our first stop when we arrived to Tulum. We did not expect anything fancy, but hoped for a good simple meal. And simple it was: grilled chicken, rice, tortillas and salsa. The rice was dry, bland and it look like it sat around for a while. Tortillas were good. The chicken was OK, but definitely not great or the "best chicken I have ever had". Maybe because I live in Texas, where everybody grills and BBQ (including my husband--who by the way masters chicken on the grill) I have higher standards and the food just did not measure up. However, service was fast end friendly and it was interesting to watch the guy working the grill. After a week in Tulum, I have to admit that this was my least favorite meal. Yes, it is cheap, but there are so many better options at all price points in Tulum!
