La Nave Pizzeria - Tulum

Cute place, they have steak and seafood on the menu as well. Good place to go after the beach. Close to shopping area. Big menu lots to choose from.

When we arrived at La Nave at around pm, there were only other couples there. We had eaten here before and enjoyed our meals, so we decided to stay. We tried to order bruschetta appies and steaks, but the waiter told us that...there was no bread and no steak, only scaloppine. Our entrees took quite a while to arrive, and we noticed lots of pizzas were being sent out for delivery. By the time our meals did arrive we were the only patrons in the place. However, both entrees were cold. Really cold. My husband could not get the attention of the waiter, so he carried his plate (scaloppine with mushroom sauce) back to the bar area and asked them to please microwave it. My brie/prosciutto pizza was cold as well. The tiny chunks of unmelted brie sitting on top of the pizza were ice cold, as if just out of the fridge. I didn't ask to have it reheated because I was beyond caring, just like I feel the La Nave staff was. Very disappointing meal. I brought the pizza home to feed our dogs.because they love cold pizza.

The pasta and pizza are delicous. Growing tired of tacos,this was perfect. We ended up going back the following day. The decor is unassuming but the food is great.

Quality of food is nice but the service needs improvement. Wehad to wait a long time before orders were taken and then again until food was served. The pizza's were good but the pasta's were mediocre.
