I am not at all a bar/dance hal... read more I don't know why whiskey 918 gets so many bad reviews. my friends brought me there on the 30th birthday and we had an explosion. I am not at all a bar/dance hall type of a person (in which was usually never in a bar or danced before) so that I had not expected such a great time, but now I cannot wait to go again! many couples who really know how to dance so that only people were watching was very entertaining. the staff was friendly and cool, the bathroom were clean, and the drinks were delicious. the amount was also great and was not even rude when we came on the floor of dancing on the way because I didn't know that the line dances. friendly mozens, I even had a girl come and sit with me while my friends smoke outside until they came back because she was worried that I was alone. all around the great place for a great time! do not know whether we have just been happy and it was an exceptionally good night or if they just recently got their stock together, but due to my experience I would highly recommend this place!

Despite b... read more I had high expectations for the professional standards of bars in downtown Tulsa. However, my experience at Whiskey 918 was one of the worst I've had. Despite bringing my expired ID and pass issued at 16 (I now look different at 21), I was denied entry because I supposedly did not resemble my photo. Despite providing detailed information from my pass and even showing my expired license, they still refused to let me in. Even after presenting a valid Uni-ID with my birth date, they continued to deny me entry. It became clear that my flamboyant personality did not align with the bouncer's "morals" and I was ultimately turned away. Overall, I was disappointed by their unequal treatment of customers.
